 简历:
 

1987年毕业于长春地质学院地质系。19871993年在中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所分别获理学硕士学位、博士学位,后留所工作。1994年任副研究员,199812月起任研究员,2001年起任博士生导师。近年来访问加拿大、美国、英国、德国、瑞典、挪威、阿根廷等国,与多国学者有密切的合作研究。1996-1997年在加拿大西安大略大学地球科学系访问,2000-2002年在德国柏林工业大学应用地球科学系任马普学者。 

主要从事早古生代地层及笔石动物研究,在奥陶纪-泥盆纪笔石系统古生物学研究、早古生代地层划分对比、奥陶纪生物大辐射等方面取得突出成果,是我国第一个金钉子”——奥陶系达瑞威尔阶全球界线层型的第一研究骨干、目前我国奥陶系研究的主要学术带头人。任国际奥陶系分会选举委员、国际笔石工作组组织委员、国际地学计划 IGCP653 项目共同主席、《地层学杂志》副主编、《古生物学报》和《中国古生物志》编委等职。近年来主持完成国家科技重大专项大型油气田及煤层气开发十一五~十三五任务、国家自然科学基金重点项目奥陶纪生物大辐射的型式、过程和机制研究以华南为例证、中国科学院创新工程方向性项目中国古生代重要层段综合地层学及精细对比研究、中石化海相地层前瞻性项目中国早古生代海相地层对比10余个项目。迄今在12个国家的20个国际学术刊物上发表论文220余篇(其中SCI收录80余篇)、专著7部。
